Green Websites for Kids

March 19th, 2009 at 3:33 pm

Today we were looking for the best green websites for kids. What we found were two interactive websites that we couldn’t stop playing with. Remember that it is important to teach children about eco-friendly values at a young age. Check these websites out for kids you know (or yourself, we won’t tell)!

Kids Be Green is an interactive website for kids. It includes games, coloring books, a Disney challenge, and fun How To guides. Bright colors and light bulb figures make this site entertaining.

Eekoworld is a green site for kids from PBS. Eekoworld asks users to design their own Eeko Creature and Eeko Home to show that every decision we make is important. Numerous talking characters take kids through topics such as Air & Water, Garbage & Recycling, and The Future. Plus, you can print out and play Eeko Cheeko! Make sure you use recycled paper!

Go play. Being green should be fun!
