Save Some Ink

February 21st, 2009 at 8:18 pm

For those of you who like to, or have to, print documents, you can reduce the amount of ink being used for text by using SPRANQ’s Ecofont. This sans-serif font is based on the popular font Verdana. The Ecofont uses 20% less ink than regular fonts. The best part: it’s absolutely free! The website offers installation instructions for Windows, Mac, and Linux. For best results, it’s recommended to use sizes 9 or 10.

For the students out there: Receive some extra credit on your next paper by using this font?
